    Description

    This is a Waterman 12 1/2 red ripple fountain pen cap.
    It will fit a # 12 1/2, it will not fit a # 12.
    The cap is mint unused.  It has no clip and no cap band.
    It is a slip on cap.
    It is the style that slips onto a taper barrel, not the early style that just slips onto the section.
    It has a lot of ripple and may not match a barrel with a lesser amount of ripple.
    It will not look good on a woodgrain barrel.
    I have a # 12 black barrel in the photos to show the style of pen it fits.
    The barrel is not included.
    This is a new old stock cap from the 1910s.
    It came from the Waterman NYC factory when it closed it's doors in the 1950s.
