Description

The Vollrath 40955 heavy-duty slicer has a 13-inch blade with a built-in sharpener to ensure cuts are precise with each use. This unit offers several safety measures: A hand and rim guard protect users from cutting themselves, and the blade is not exposed when the carriage tray is lifted. A cover sits under the motor for safety. Because this slicer has a long feed slide, it can hold large products, such as meat and cheese. Its knob can be adjusted to cut slices as thick as 1 inch.
Product in the Vollrath 40955 slicer is fed into the unit through a 35-degree gravity feed, reducing the amount of strain placed on an employee while loading. The plate is coated with QuanTanium® so meats don't stick to it, which streamlines cleaning because there won't be any particles left behind. This unit has a kickstand to help employees clean underneath it, and it's mounted on nonskid rubber feet so it won't slide around on the countertop during use.
