Vintage NEW OS 40 MAX-H Ring W/Muffler NIB

Description

This auction is for a New O.S. 40 Max-H (Ring, baffled piston) W/Muffler. Engine is NIB, never mounted. Muffler, tools and instruction sheet/decals are still in original sealed packaging. Engine was removed from bag for photos. This is the later model MAX-H with the larger box. (late 70's, early 80's I think) These engines run great and the air bleed carbs are easy to set up and idle well. They were powerful for the day, and still perform great in sport planes today. This model engine was replaced in the mid 80's by the O.S. FP series. NOS engines like these are getting harder and harder to find.
