The Microfast Quick Response Upright Fire Sprinkler provides reliable and easily-installed protection against fire, and is perfect for commercial and industrial occupancies, such as hotel lobbies, office buildings, churches, and restaurants.
The sprinkler is made by Viking, a global leader in fire protection manufacturing for nearly 100 years.
This automatic fire sprinkler activates when ambient temperatures reach 286F (141C).
This 286F (141C) temperature rating strikes a balance between a fire sprinkler that activates too soon, causing accidental discharge, and too late.
Viking's Microfast Quick Response Upright Fire Sprinkler
has an 8.0 K-Factor and installs with 3/4" NPT thread, used in fire sprinkler systems throughout the United States.
With a maximum working pressure of 175 PSI (12 BAR), this sprinkler should be installed in accordance with NFPA 13 and local fire codes.
In accordance with NFPA 13, a higher temperature rating may be required when installing a fire sprinkler in or near heat sources, unventilated spaces, uncovered steam mains, or uninsulated rooftops.
This product is UL & FM approved and appropriate for use in fire protection systems when accepted by the authority having jurisdiction.
