We have a full line of teak herb, flower & tree boxes including 24 sizes! Custom sizes are also available. See the group photo below and our other listings! All our teak boxes are made with tongue and groove 7/16 inches thick x 3 inches wide wood (in the board and batten style). All boxes are made to be used without liners and all hardware is stainless steel. Soil is placed directly inside and all boxes have drainage holes. All boxes have feet that raise them off the ground.
Since these boxes are sometimes used for storage purposes, covers are available (for purchase) for all our tree boxes. These can be removable or attached with dampeners to protect little fingers. In order to ensure a source of consistently superior teak wood that is also environmentally-friendly, we have developed and continue to maintain our own teak plantations. Many years ago, we planted hundreds of thousands of trees in Costa Rica in an effort to reforest areas of this country that had been completely denuded of forest. The trees are tended with great expertise and care, and in a process spanning decades, they produce the finest teak wood in the world. Each of our plantations is managed in a sustainable, environmentally-sound way so that at least our small part of the tropical rain forest will be permanently preserved.
