    Royal Crown Derby Hawthorne Raised Gold Flowers & Butterflies Yellow Vase AS IS

    Nice antique late 19th century Victorian era bone china double gourd shaped vase. Yellow ground decoration with raised gold hawthorne flower and butterfly pattern. Marked on the bottom with the Royal Crown Derby mark in red above a retailer/importer mark for Bigelow Kennard & Co Boston, the pattern name Hawthorne, and a date code for 1884. Also has an English registry diamond mark on the base in red with a date code for September 17th 1883.
    The top of the vase has a piece that has been broken out at one time and glued back in, with an associated chip that has also been glued back in and overpainted repairs on the inside. Also has another chip along the rim that has been gilded over. No additional chips, cracks, or repairs noted.
    Measures approximately 4 3/8 inches wide x 8 inches tall.
