    Description

    Hello !
Up for sale is a hard to find and terrific sounding boutique amp from Blum amps, simply called....the "Head!"
Called "Head" because it is a 1950's to 1960's tube driven PA head converted into a guitar amp combo.
The controls are fairly simple, yet very responsive, including a volume (or gain) control, a tone stack containing treble, mid, bass and "wave" controls, as well as a post phase inverter master volume control. The treble control also has a "pull" feature which to my ears cuts or shelves the treble frequencies.  Think of it as a reverse bright switch !!!!!
The "wave" control results in making
the output signal asymmetrical, by adding as well as subtracting signal
amplitude to one output tube while the signal remains consistent to the
    other output tube.
This also results in an adjustment of the amp's signal harmonics.
The tube compliment is 3 12ax7's for the preamp. It also has 2 GE brand 6L6 GC's for the power section, made in the USA, originally used for Televisions, and last 10 times longer than contemporary tubes according to amp creator Ed Blum!
The amp has a HUGE Hammond Power Transformer as well as a USA made 12" eminence speaker.
I know Mr. Blum says that the preamp is a modified 2203 Marshall preamp. The amp sounds to me like a harmonically rich tweed Fender amp, both when it's clean, and especially when you turn up the gain. I guess that makes sense when you remember that the first Marshalls were hot rodded Fender amps ! That's the closest thing I can compare the amp to, but it really has its own identity....a one of a kind creation !
When you check out the website below, you will see a picture of what the back of the amp looks like.  Ebay will NOT let me upload it here, nor will they let me post the link to the website, so please look below:
This is a really cool amp with excellent, unique sounds.  It is a special order amp from Blumamps
(check out their website...just add ".com", ie.BlumampsDOTcom, to get even more information on this amazing amplifier!) You can be assured that you are very likely going to be the only guitarist that owns this amp in your area, maybe even in your state!!!!!)
Please read the condition description, these listing details and examine the pictures carefully.
Thanks so much for your interest and I hope you buy it now!!!!!
