Fantastic 12″ x 16″ colorized signed photo of Juventus and Italy legend , Marco Tardelli and his iconic goal celebration in the 1982 FIFA World Cup Final.

Regarded as one of Italy’s greatest midfielders, Marco Tardelli was energetic, hard-tackling and technically skillful. He had the assets to be a force both in attack and in defense.  His career highlight is captured in this iconic photograph, from the final of the 1982 FIFA World Cup. Against West Germany Tardelli sealed Italy’s win with a fantastic left footed strike from outside the area. It was his celebration that became one of the defining images in World Cup history, as he turned away from goal shaking his fists, tears pouring down his face and screaming “Gol! Gol!” and shaking his head.
In 2004, Tardelli was named 37th in the UEFA Golden Jubilee Poll; he was inducted into the Italian Football Hall of Fame in 2015. Tardelli went on to make 81 appearances for Italy, scoring 6 goals.
