This is one of the original BA12-3 Bass Array cabs from the very first batch in 2015!
From a COMMEMORATIVE LIMITED EDITION run..in celebration of their new company and this unique cabinet design. Jeff Genzler signed and numbered the first 50 units that were produced. This particular one is #13 of 50. See pic.
    New in box, unopened!
    Here's how that happened:
My EA cabs were stolen one night in the summer of 2015, and I was looking for a replacement. It really bugged me that the rest of the band could never hear the bass well enough on stage. I couldn't find a workable--for me--solution and thought I'd have to live with that extremely annoying fact.
Always liked the sound of Genz-Benz cabs and had read that Jeff Genzler just released his first design with his new company...AND...it had a Line Array built in. Whoa, I said!! That's the PA configuration that was being lauded and raved about as having 180 degree sound dispersion.
So back in the Fall of 2015, I stopped by Chuck Levin's Washington Music one night after work.
I tried several cabs from the big name manufacturers. Then I saw the BA12-3. My adrenaline started pumping!!
    I plugged in.
The sound was so sophisticated, full, and clear!
I walked to each side of the cab, and heard the Line Array do it's magic! My excitement went into serious overdrive. This is the ONE!
The sales guy went off to get one from the stockroom.
I had a back injury in my late teens and my lifting ability is about 25 lbs. max. But, with all that adrenaline going, when I picked the box up it seemed quite light. I felt no pain, so I whipped out my MasterCard and carried it out to the car.
When I got home, I went to carry it up the stairs and my heart sank. This wonder of aural technology had somehow gained weight during the 45 minute drive--and I felt immediate pain in my lower back.
Checking the website I saw "Wt. 34 pounds".  Dang, and double dang!!! I knew I couldn't take it to gigs!
So I kept in my bedroom closet: climate controlled, protected from sunlight, and in a smoke-free environment.
I never opened it.  The above photo is from the Genzler site.
The weight is 34 pounds, a very reasonable lift for most people--just not for me.
Genzler now has a new version, but everything is exactly the same except the newer version has the handle on top.
    I paid 5 for it.
I you buy it, and want me to open it up and test it, just let me know.
    Thanks for looking!
