DISNEY LEEDS POTTERY CINDERELLA LARGE PLANTER 70 YEARS OLD - ELEGANT!

You are bidding on a Beautiful Walt Disney USA Leeds Pottery Cinderella Large Planter 6 1/2” Tall Ceramic figure!
This iconic pose of an elegant Cinderella in her pink flowing Ball Gown was Distributed By Leeds Pottery OF CHICAGO, ILLINOIS 1950-1954 EXCELLENT CONDITION!
LEEDS POTTERY was a Distributor of Disney licensed pottery pieces from 1944 through 1954. Many collectors are surprised to hear that LEEDS Pottery did not actually manufacture these pieces. The Chicago based LEEDS POTTERY contracted with multiple pottery manufacturers so as to obtain the best prices, quantity and production time lines to deliver these wonderful Walt Disney Productions ceramic pieces to Flower Shops & Gift Shops across the country.
Planters, Vases & Pitchers with flower arrangements were basic LEEDS POTTERY products. LEEDS also distributed the famous Disney Character “Turnabout” Cookie Jars. Their Disney product line also included Character Banks, Lamps and Salt & Pepper Shakers.
Earlier pieces were painted overglaze, and the paint frequently flaked off. Later pieces were airbrushed with lighter pastel colors under glaze. These remain in excellent condition since the lighter pastel colors under glaze were created in fewer numbers and are more rare.
This Leeds Pottery Cinderella Large ceramic Planter Figure Is one of the more unique and sought after Leeds Ceramic Pieces produced!
It is in Excellent Condition with a slight glaze chip on the tip of Cinderella’s shoe & light visible crazing. The interior of the planter is clean
Cinderella stands 6 1/2” tall. This Ceramic Planter is painted in beautiful shades of soft Pink, Yellow and Green Pastel Colors. There are no cracks or breaks and little loss of paint.
This Cinderella Ceramic Planter dates back to 1950 which makes it about 70 Years Old!
