Created by me just for Autumn and the Samhain Season
I
created this pin with the harvest season in mind
Beginning with Lammas in August, first harvest
and ending with Samhain, the third and last harvest,
we celebrate the dark time of the year.
It's the time of the Autumn Faeries, they turn the leaves colors and help the animal world find sustenance throughout the dark  season and winter .
They also help animals find safe places to hibernate throughout t the winter.
I place a beautiful Autumn faery  on top of  the first  leaf  on this pin.
She has an amazing color changing lab created alexandrite stone that  dangles from her feet.
Alexandrite is a lucky stone and just  like the Autumn season it changes  colors
Stone changes from a  violet  blue to purple depending on the light it's in.

The pin is vintage enamel over gold plate  and measures 2" high and  3" wide.
