--- Manually turns over and I can hear the compression pop, this came from an estate so I don't know the run history or past use.  The only thing I can see that is missing is the retaining nut for the brass prop.   You can see some oxidation around exhaust slide valve, the slide valve linkage moves smoothly, it looks like there is a scratch built part between the exhaust slide lever and the connecting linkage rod (see photos).  Some greenish oxidation seen on brass parts (around the carb assembly) and the fittings on the side of the head (with tubes attached).  No cracks or damage to any of the castings or assemblies/parts.  There is a small notch on the needle control knob (see the knurled brass adjusting knob, I don't know if that is stock).  The prop slides on with no issues and sits precisely into the keyed fitting.  Some signs of finish wear, some surface dust etc.  Comes in original box with instruction sheet and pink mail order envelope.  There are two slotted cardboard pieces that I assume would hold the engine in place, but I assume there would have been a larger insert that is not present.  The box bottom has a large oil type stain on the bottom.  No split corners on box bottom or lid.  Lid has some kind of facing blemish near bottom center edge.  The red white and blue box design reminds me of the bicentennial period (1976).
