For a more complete selection of our teak lumber and many other exotic tropical hardwood offerings, . This listing is for 10 square feet of PLANED teak lumber that is 3/4 or 0.75 inches thick. The boards will be at least 3 inches wide and 48 to 72 inches long. These teak boards are the same wood we use in our planters and other standard teak products. This is true teak wood with the scientific name tectona grandis. Teak wood is very durable and can be used indoors or outdoors for a wide range of uses. This 10 square feet of lumber will be around 10 to 12 boards. These PLANED boards will be at least 3 inches wide and 36 to 47 inches long and 3/4 or 0.75 inches thick. We have huge amounts of teak in stock and these include giant slabs that come from beautiful crotches and other highly figured parts of trees--burls, fiddleback, curly, etc. We have thicker teak slabs and also sell tongue in groove teak siding/cladding, flooring, and finished teak products. Teak has natural oils that enable the wood to be used outdoors. These oils keep rain and snow from penetrating into the wood and make teak the most durable and long lasting wood for outdoor use! Teak is one of the most famous woods in the world because of its amazing qualities. The pictures show this planed teak wood. This teak is very accurately cut and has been kiln dried and end sealed with wax.
